2019 US Open 10 Ball Champion Marco Teutscher is now coaching several school teams taking part in the 2020 NZSS Cue Sports program. With the Covid-19 pandemic seeing all international professional cue sports events being cancelled for the foreseeable future, professional cue sports player Teutscher has based himself in Hamilton, working for cue sports organisation Massé, and coaching several school cue sports teams in the Waikato.
Massé General Manager, Bernie Endres commented that “having a player of Marco’s level coaching these school teams is amazing. He’s not only the best player in New Zealand by far, but his overall results in 2019 see him rated as one of the best performing players on the planet at the moment”.
“Having Marco involved at the grassroots level is so beneficial to not only the players, but also to the game and its development”.
Since 2018, Teutscher has been involved with junior pool at the elite level in New Zealand, acting as both a coach and mentor to members of the New Zealand Junior Pool Team and the New Zealand Junior Pool Development Squad.
